Nearly 2 billion people worldwide do not have access to the basic medicines they need to be healthy. Here in the U.S., Hurricane Sandy is putting countless families in crisis. Together we can help, here in the U.S. and worldwide.
Nobody could predict that Hurricane Sandy would cause enough extensive damage to cancel the ING New York City Marathon. Right now, tens of thousands of people are still suffering in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Even after the marathon's cancellation, Team AmeriCares continued to work hard, raising more than $110,000 to help fund deliveries of lifesaving medical and disaster aid to help families in crisis.
Historically, for every $1 donated, we are able to deliver $25 in aid, so your support makes an even bigger difference.
